We can't do this all on our own, so we're asking you.  We're searching for talented and ambitious people to help us grow Psymposia. Preference will be given to people in and around the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area but if not, no problem. These are currently unpaid intern positions. We're looking for a three month commitment with the possibility to join the team full time if it's a good fit.

As a startup, Psymposia is constantly evolving, and we are looking for excellent team members who are willing to grow with us.

Here's who we're looking for:

Multimedia Specialist

We're looking for a talented, and dependable multimedia specialist to assist us with creating, developing, editing, and designing of multimedia projects. Animation skills are certainly welcomed.

Candidate should have experience and an understanding of audio/video editing and post-production, conceptualizing, copywriting, cloud-based systems, high attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively with a team. Projects include editing and mixing event footage, creating original videos, and occasional social media campaigns.

Assistant Copy Editor

Good candidates have experience in copy editing, can meet deadlines and work well with others, have extreme attention to detail, and think that everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.

Graphic Design Guru

Good candidates are studying design, have experience meeting deadlines and working with others, and have a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign. You will work with the team on developing and codifying brand design aesthetics. Bonus points if you love Swiss Design!

Psychedelic Stories Editor

Good candidates can find and cultivate great and unique stories, have excellent organizational and communication skills, and can meet deadlines and work well with a team.

Social Engagement Director

Good candidates have a thorough understanding of the ins-and-outs of social media: FB, Twitter, Reddit, have an excellent and consistent work ethic, communication skills, and agree that everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.

Plant Drug Writer
This goes without saying, but the ideal candidate should have the Encyclopedia of Psychoactive Plants proudly displayed on their bookshelf.
