You’re invited to Psymposia’s 4th annual celebration following day 1 of the Horizons Perspectives on Psychedelics forum in New York City that examines the role of psychedelic drugs in science, healing, culture and spirituality.

This year, Comedian Duncan Trussell joins Hamilton Morris (VICELAND’s Hamilton’s Pharmacopeia), Katherine MacLean, Sophia Korb, and Paul Austin to talk about everything you wanted to know about microdosing and more, surrounded by a live audience in Brooklyn. The event will be MC’ed by Adam Strauss of the Mushroom Cure.

Duncan Trussell is a stand-up comedian, and host of the popular podcast The Duncan Trussell Family Hour known for its blend of humor, fringe ideas, eclectic guests, and great interviews.

Hamilton Morris is a journalist, science writer, researcher, and host of Hamilton’s Pharmacopeia on VICELAND.

Katherine MacLean

Katherine MacLean, PhD is a research psychologist with expertise in studying psychedelics and meditation. As the founding director of the Psychedelic Program in New York, she leads trainings in psychedelic harm reduction and facilitates integration groups locally and around the world.


Sophia Korb

Sophia Korb, Ph.D., holds a masters and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. Her clinical work thus far focuses on people with severe and persistent mental illnesses.

She has been working with James Fadiman since she was a graduate student. Their most recent project examines the experiences of people who use psychedelic drugs in very small quantities.

Paul Austin

Through his platform, The Third Wave, Paul Austin explores pragmatic ways to change the cultural conversation around psychedelics, focusing on the intersection of science, psychedelics, and self-optimization.
